Assessment Plan:

Teacher will be collecting the letter of response to John Winthrop Jr. to assess if the students have a firm understanding of how the Puritans migration had an impact on the Wampanoag tribe.

Technology:

  • While teacher modeling how to partner read, there are the rules of partner reading on the smartboard. (which can be left up while the partner reading is happening)
  • Teacher can have an Edmodo page for her class. Each student would have accounts and access to their teacher’s page
  • Students will use chrome books to research how the Wampanoag’s helped the Puritans. They will go on Edmodo and click on the links of the websites the teacher has posted. (This way the teacher knows what websites, the students are on)
